"We were lucky enough to wander in on a cold, rainy Thanksgiving day. Not only was the Thanksgiving dinner delicious, but the restaurant had the coziest feel. And we always appreciate when someone's great with toddlers (mine ended up having twice as many peas as me!). Just the friendliest service all around. We'll be back to try their regular menu for sure!"

"We came as a group, so it may be different from 2-4ppl experience. The menu has great variety and reasonable pricing. The onion soup is definitely one of the best I have had in Mtl. We share some appetizers and they were all delicious. My main course was Duck confit and it is also one of the best I have, the skin is crispy, so good! The common challenge nowadays is short staff, so we were not given bread, some drinks came later because waitress forgot, I heard some of my friends who ordered hanger steak, it was cold. There was also some confusion over billing but resolved after. Also maybe because the building is older, there was a draft of cold air in the restaurant, so dress warm is my suggestion. I think they tried their best for a group."

"Came here with 3 friends with a reservation we made an hour in advance. We ran into another friend when we were here so that was pretty funny! Food: DEFINITELY remember to check in! Can’t waste a good free dessert! We got the cream puff dessert, pretty sure it varies depending on what they have available. The free bread is quite fluffy and crunchy! I got the seasonal risotto which was quite bland if I may say so but with the help of my friend’s duck confit and pan fried steak the dish tasted a lot better. We also tried the Foie gras which wasn’t like great but tasted authentic nonetheless. Service: Service was actually kind of slow but the waiter was really nice and gave us refills of bread. Ambiance: it’s a classy date night vibe and I loved the decorations! This was a nice intro to Montreal! I wouldn’t come back but I appreciated the experience."

"Upon a google search for French restaurants, this location popped up with good reviews. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on a calm warm evening with charming comical servers, fast food delivery to the table, many French menu options & delightful drinks. Steak tartare, lamb shank, escargot appy were delicious. One less star for the salmon.. although cooked perfectly & delicious, it was a plain dish (might have been better served with more flavorful polenta or potato instead of bland cabbage slaw). Many guests in attendance so it must be popular. Recommend!"

"Visited this quintessential French restaurant in a very trendy area back in August. The owner was very hospitable/hands-on and accommodating. She was articulate and well-versed in French cuisine. Our food was excellent, esp the French onion soup (very generous on the cheese!!), the perfectly seasoned medium rare hangar steak and impressive lamb shank. All simple and elegant presentations. The brownie-nom nom!!! Good drinks too! I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m in Montreal."
